About Susan

Susan Heinrich sits on the deck of a tent at near Yellowstone National Park in Montana

Originally from Toronto, Susan spent her early writing career as a newspaper journalist for Canada’s National Post. A move to Denver led her to the Lighthouse Writers Workshop where she rediscovered a love of creative writing and began her novel.

When not writing, she enjoys traveling, and hiking or skiing with her husband Sean and teen boys, Charlie and Nate. A supporting cast of foster dogs create some interesting plot twists. Her first novel,  Lovebirds & Tin Gods, is nearing completion.

Her latest project is a website for midlife women called Midlife Globetrotter, a place for midlife women to find resources and inspiration for, health, happiness and midlife travel adventures.
